Pacquiao next fight vs Rios in Macau

Good news avid boxing aficionados and die-hard fanatic of the fighting pride of the Philippines as the former pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao will retun to action against slugger Brandon Rios on November 24, 2013 at the Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel in Macau, China.

This fight marks Pacquiao’s first fight oustide of the United States since 2006. According to Michael Koncz that Pacquiao will face Rios at the welterweight limit of 147 pounds in a scheduled 12-round fight that will be televised on HBO PPV in the United States.

“People know what Rios brings to the table,” Arum said. “People want to see a real fight, and that is what you get with Rios. We’re building a business in Macau and China and these are the kinds of fights — real action fights — that they want to see.”

Brandon “Bambam” Rios (31-1-1, 23 KOs) lost his unblemish record on March 30 via unanimous decision in a rematch with fellow brawler Mike Alvarado.

Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao (54-5-2, 38 KOs) is seeking to get his mojo back after being knocked out cold by rival Juan Manuel Marquez in December and the June loss to Timothy Bradley.
