CRISTIANO RONALDO has made Champions League history by scoring twice for Real Madrid in their final against Juventus.

Ronaldo’s second was also Real’s 500th goal in the elite European competition.Ronaldo

The Portuguese ace opened the scoring in the 20th minute before finding the back of the net again during the second half.

In doing so, Ronaldo becomes the first-ever player to score in three Champions League finals.

And it also marked the 600th goal of the ex-Man United star’s career for club and country.

Ronaldo continues to flourish despite his age, with a switch to a more central position working out well.

He proved his credentials with a fine finish early on following a swift Real counter-attack.

And Ronaldo’s second put Real in total control after Casemiro scored the second with a cracking long-range effort.

However, goal of the night was reserved for Juve’s Mario Mandzukic, who levelled on the half hour mark with a sensational overheard kick.
