U.S. Men’s National Team advances to 2014 World Cup

Team USA clinched its seventh consecutive World Cup slot Tuesday night after beating rival Mexico behind goals from Eddie Johnson and Landon Donovan in Columbus.

Eddie Johnson scored a spectacular header from Landon Donovan’s corner in the 49th minute and Donovan clinch a nice cross from Mix Diskerur in the 79th minute. It’s the fourth time the US national team defeated Mexico’s soccer squad.

USA is going! Yes, the U.S. Men’s national team is heading to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. The U.S. team got some help from Honduras which tied Panama 1-1, making way USA’s ticket to the World Cup.

And that’s how it’s done, boys! U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!
